Here's Lee in front of the straw market.

This woman is weaving straw to be used to make bags and purses. I love stuff like this--I guess because I like making things.

She kept her purse under her arm the whole time she was weaving.

You can't see these very well, but under this deck, there were hundreds of conch shells washed up by Hurricane Frances. I've never seen so many conch shells in one place!

Lee, Marshall, and I went to this pirate museum. Nassau was a favorite spot for pirates back in their heyday (early 1700s).

Inside the pirate museum, they have a 3/4 size replica of a pirate ship that you can walk through. This is one of the rooms in the ship.
This was on the outside of the pirate ship.
They also had some replica buildings and streets, so we could get an idea of what Nassau was like in those days. Here's Lee with a drunk pirate friend.
