Moore's Cove Falls

These falls were a little skimpy the day we went, but imagine how this would look after a heavy rain. The drop is straight down over a sheet of rock, and you can walk behind them.

Here's a view from behind the falls.

And another behind-the-falls shot.

Marshall and Amber were brave enough to stand under the icy cold water. Not me! It felt like needles.

This water was more my speed. I don't mind putting my feet in cold water, but I don't like it falling on my head!

I loved this stone bridge.

Here is my friend Paula, contemplating the lessons in determination and perseverance we can learn from this stubborn weed growing in a tiny bit of dirt on a rock.

Marshall hamming it up with Shelby and Amber (Paula's daughters.)
